Terms and Conditions Policy

It is the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian to read and understand all terms and conditions outlined below.

 

  • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Full lesson payment (or approved payment arrangement ) must be made and receipted, for the lesson to be booked as confirmed. Or the lesson time slot can be taken by another client.
  • Payments can be made via Direct Bank Transfer or Pay ID. Cash payments available to existing clients and proceeding lessons booked after initial assessment.
  • If less than 24 hours’ notice is given for a cancellation or re-schedule (this includes non-arrival), the lesson fee will be 100% forfeited.
  • If less than 5 full days’ notice is given for cancellation or reschedule (this includes non-arrival) of a VORT test, the pre-test lesson and test fee will be 100% forfeited.
  • It is the responsibility of the student to ensure they are carrying their learners permit, overseas licence and/or temporary driving permit with them at all times during the lesson, refunds of lessons will NOT be given for arriving without a valid permit.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure all personal property is removed from the instructor’s vehicle at the end of the lesson, L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd is not liable for any items left behind and will not provide drop back services.
  • L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd reserves the right to re-schedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd.
  • Advised lesson packages may be subject to change based on student progress, L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd no responsibility for additional lessons required to meet the government standard for VORT competency.
  • L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for any failed VORT test
  • Students’ late arrival to a lesson will not result in a lesson extension. If later than 15mins to the lesson the full amount of the lesson will be forfeited and the lesson will not go ahead.
  • Student is required to wear flat enclosed shoes to ensure their safety. 
  • In the event the instructor is late to a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e traffic, the lesson will be extended to meet the full time, if either party is unable to extent on that day, time will be made up in a future lesson.
  • We reserve the right to terminate the lesson if the student is failing to comply with instructions, directions or is driving in a manner deemed to be unsafe by the instructor.
  • Fitness to drive requires the student to be alcohol and drug free and not suffering fatigue.
  • If for any reason your actions, whether they are intentional, reckless or careless result in any damage to the vehicle or any property or to the property of a third party the student will be liable for the cost of repairs and/or insurance excesses as applicable.
  • L-Pass Driving Academy Pty Ltd or instructors not be held responsible for any traffic infringement notices incurred whilst a student is driving our vehicles
